How to take care of your tooth brush ?
1.Don't use too much pressure when brushing: Brushing your teeth with a lot of pressure is not just bad for your teeth.[ damage your enamel]. It is bad for your tooth brush also. It may causes the bristles to bend and become hard.
2.Place your brush under running tap water after brushing. you to rinse off any extra tooth paste and bacteria that got on your tooth brush off of it before you put it away. This makes bacteria to re enter in to your mouth through tooth brush. There are so many fancy sanitizers for cleaning toothy brush but it is not necessary to use those sanitizer wash under running water is enough.
3.Air dry in an upright position moist objects are breeding grounds for bacteria and mold. You want your tooth brush to air dry to get rid of any bacteria that killed by the air. always make sure to dry your tooth brush before packing it.
4.Store in an upright position in the open. You can store it in a tooth brush holder that sits on the counter/one that attaches to your bathroom mirror. Don't store your brushes near toilet flushes it emits bacteria in to the air that could get on your tooth brush.
5.Replace your tooth brush for every 2 to 3 months. This makes excessive bacteria buildup on your tooth brush. Your tooth brush may also wearing down and worn out bristles can damage your teeth.
