Emergency is a thing where you need immediate attention. Some types of injuries to your teeth/ gums can lead to severe damage. Then contact your dentist immediately or go to the emergency room for treatment for a dental emergency. Remember one thing not all dental problems are emergencies only when you have bleeding that wont stop, pain that doesn't get better with medication or any accidents which broke facial bones then you need dental emergency care.
THINGS TO DO IN DENTAL EMERGENCY;
Many dentists have their emergency number in which you can call at any time. If you don't have any dentist availability near you then immediately go to care center or your emergency room,
DENTAL EMERGENCIES;

4.Dental abscess[ swelling on face].
5.lost / broken tooth.

HOW TO MANAGE DENTAL EMERGENCIES;
1.For severe soft tissue loss injury which include tongue, cheek, lips, gums can cause bleeding. Firstly rinse your mouth with a mild salt and water solution. Then use a moistened piece of guaze or caffeniated tea bag to apply pressure on bleeding site. Hold it in place for 15 to 20min because tea contains tannic acids which stops bleeding by shrinking blood vessels. To control bleeding and relieve pain hold a cold compress to the outside of your mouth \ cheek in the affected area for about 5 to 10 minutes. If bleeding doesn't stops then also means immediately visit your nearest dentist.
2.Badly cracked tooth; Rinse with warm water any broken parts of teeth . Apply pressure with guaze until 10 minutes. If bleeding continues do it until bleeding stops. Apply a cold compress outside of your mouth to relieve pain and keep any swelling down. Immediately see your dentist as soon as possible.
3;Knocked out teeth; If possible to put your tooth back in its socket and make sure its facing in right path and don't scrub it or remove any attached tissue fragments. make sure its facing the right way.If not possible to reinsure the tooth in its place then put your tooth in a small container of milk. If milk not available put it in a glass of water that contains punch of table salt. If you meet your dentist immediately with in 1hr after teeth knocked our then there is better chances to save a tooth.
4.dental abscess; Abscess is a pimple like infection or swollen area that occur around the root of a tooth\ space between your tooth. serious condition that can damage tissue surrounding teeth. If left untreated the infection could cause swelling of your face jaw. Before that immediately as soon as possible reach out your dentist and for ease of pain then draw the pus toward the surface try rinsing your ,mouth eith mild salt water solution.
